Party Planner
Party Planner
Jasmine, Taanvi, Vrishti and Prisha
Jasmine - I think it went well. Our group worked collaboratively and we were able to work out our total amount. The downside to our group was that, we sometimes split up and we also sometimes disagreed on some things. Otherwise, we worked well. We all learned how to work together effectively, had equal air time and also we learned how to subtract and add decimals.
Taanvi - For collaborating i give 8/10 because at some times we went wondering to another group but we still had time to share our ideas and we also made our party creative. We made our game creative by adding a candy scavenger hunt and get to play charades.
Vrishti - My opinion in this activity was positive because we all participated equaly and we had a lot of creativity in our final copy! but sometimes we would walk to other groups and waste our time talking and mucking around.Overall I would say we collaborated effectivly and used our time wisley as we had a limited amount of time.
Prisha - I liked how we did the sequence of the party to go with it to show that we had planned a proper party and just not the budget. Aside that the collaboration wasn't quite good. Because when Vrishti was sharing she didn't know what to share. So that clearly told us that we weren't good collaborators

Market day- Magical pots
We had been planing on making magical pots for the market day. I chose that group because I like gardening and I wanted to try making one of them. We needed some broken garden pots, soil and a few decorations to make it look like a garden for fairys. If we had to buy 20 pots it would be a lot of money so that's why we need some broken and faulty pots. I think if we make them look good then we are going to make lots of money. We are still in the process of planing and we only have 2 and a little bit more weeks left so we need to work on our prototype to cheak if it will work.
If you have any broken pots an you give them to the magical pots group.

Problem solving
For problem solving our main thing to focus on was collaborating. In my group I was the resorse monoter so I had to get the the cogs, cards to see how to use our roles, markers and our poster that we had show evidence of our work.
I would rate our group 8/10 for collaboration because two people were writing the information and the other two were on the interactive cogs. So maybe next we can all work on the poster together or try to solve the problem.
I think I performed my role really well because I went to meet the learning Coach in time and I encouraged my group to awnser some of the questions. I also gave them the right information so all of us would not miss any of the steps.

Listen to reading: Mythical Creatures
For listen to reading i listened to mythical creatures because i was curious about how others would think about the myths. This book was good to listen to because for each creature it gives a little description about how they look like. So i could visualize a little bit about it.

My time at camp :)
Connected:Wednesday, 21st September
Curious:
I was wandering what camp would me like because it was my first one
had ever went to. I was also wandering about our cabins on how it would
look like or who i was with. I didn't know what abseiling was so i was curious
on what that was.
Connected:
I thought i was connected to the orientation because i know how to
read maps and find most of the places.Low ropes was a good experience and
i got to practice my balance so when i get to high jump i can be more careful of
what i am doing.
Collaborative:
I was collaborative in high ropes because when it was my turn to get up on the pole
and if my belay team was not there to support me then i would not me able to get up
or get down. Also on other activities like abseiling people were supporting me by saying
"you can do this" which was helpful.
Capable:
I think i was capable by making sure that i complete my chores on time and tidy my side
of the cabin. I also tried my best of keeping track on the activities and not start talking.

My Olympic Sport
I want to represent Badminton in the Olimpics for New Zealand because I think I am good at it and I like playing it. I think if I practice a lot I can do really well. When we went to Ormiston Senior Collage some of use got to play badminton so when I played it it was really fun for my second time playing badminton I was really impressed with my self. I think that if practice at home and from a coach I can get better. Badminton is something I didn't like befor but now that I have played it by goal is to become a good badminton player.

run for. I was able to run to level 2.2. It was my firsttime so I think
I did ok. It was was a bit but I was happy that I tried my best. When
we do it again my goal is to get up to level 4 or 5. I think this was a
great challenge because I think it helps to be fit and keeps ourself
energetic after sometime. Zavier ran the most and got 8.4. Wow

Day of playing hockey and badminton
Today for IExperience we had gone to Ormiston Senior
College to play hockey and a few other games. It was my
first time playing hockey so I didn't really know how to play.
The only thing I knew was not to lift your hockey sticks off the
ground when you are moving with the ball or it will hit another player.
Later on we got to play soccer but you could also play badminton so I chose
badminton. I only played a few times before but I was still really good at it.
The only thing I couldn't do was begin the game because the badminton ball
has always falling. I was good at passing the ball using the racket. I really enjoyed
playing because it's really fun for me and I don't really like sports. So it was a great
experience.

Today's Day at iExplore Time
So today me and Prisha were thinking on how to present our presintation on
our iExplore. Then I got a idea on how we should present it. ( I can't tell anyone
because Prisha said its a surprise.)
When we were going to ask Miss Jenson if we could do the surprise. And she said
yes but we have to present it next week Friday. So me and Prisha needs to be a bit fast
because we have the weekends and 3 more days!
I am so excited next week and it's going to be really fun!

Today's iExperience
So today we chose a group to be in for our
proformence and I chose group 5, because
I was not confident in singing the song.
So in our group we had chosen
Poi. We started with simple things like catching
the poi,and I was not so good at it.
When we started to swing at it I was getting
A bit better.
My feeling:
I had a lot of fun and Charlize help me when
I couldn't do some of the things.
I think we had a really great group and hopefully
we will collaborate nicely.

My Day Today
My Day Today
Today for iExplore I had gone to a workshop on taking notes.
There were about 10 people who went to the workshop and Ms
Person was a bit sad because there was sopesed to be 15 more.
She was also a bit sad because none of us finished the capability task. So we had to finish it of together but I think I it was better so I could understand what to do and I got a little support so I finished it in time.
iDevelope was ok I was working on my narrative assessment and I wrote it about NYLD and I was nearly finished I just needed to add a photo.
iExpierince time we are writing a blog like this one.We were sopposed to play a fun activity but since we didn't finish our blog we had to do it.

IReflection on p.e time
What:
Today for P.E me Margaret,Jasmine, sadeen and lalia did p.e together and I had a lot of fun.
Now what:
Today I felt that we were being collaborative by
saying good job and good try. I learned how to
throw a ball in long distance.
So what:
I still need to improve in aiming to the
place I want the ball to go.

iReflect on art grid
On the first day of school I was really nervous because I didn't know who the learning couches were.
But I knew I had to try my best. On the first day we were supposed to write about something I want my
learning couches to know, my hopes and dreams or something you like.
This is my art grid.
For iExplore I learned about Chinese New Year that the Neil used to prey on villagers. So that's how
Chinese New Years happened. The Neil was scared of fireworks and the colour red so that's way red is a lucky
