Google expedition, 7 wonders

We got to see the seven wonders and it was really fun. We got to
see the Taj Mahal in India, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, great wall of China
in China, Machu Picchu in Peru, Petra in Jordan, Rome colosseum
in Rome, Italy and Pyramid at Chichén Itzá in Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico.
It was surprising because I never went there the always wanted to go to
some of these places like the Taj Mahal. The goggle glasses were a
little bit bright so I had to take them off after some time because it stranded
my eyes. I felt like I was really in those places but flying. Whenever I
looked through the google glasses I always moved around in my square
just so I could look at the different areas. Over all it was a great experience
and adventure.

About art club

Art club is really fun because we get to do lots of amazing art. I loved doing art from when I was five and after that. For these few weeks we have been doing aboriginal art. Lots of people usually stick to basic and cultural patterns and some people like to use there own imagination. I picked to do a snake because we were supposed to fill the hole paper so I made it go in different directions. Our first step was to color the paper using rainbow colored dye, then after it was dryed we went on goggle and searched for aboriginals art and I found a snake photo so I sketched it out on my paper. We then have to make black dots on our paper using a sketching pencli but we could leave spots. I don't know what I have to do next because I'm not up to that part. So this is what I do for art club and maybe you might want to join art club bye.

Taanvi, Jahnavi and Neha's Trash to Flash Learning Story

Learners: Taanvi, Jahnavi & Neha
Learning Coach: T.Dillner           Date: Term 4, Week 6-10
Learning Area: iExperience - Technology
Learning Observed and Vision Principles
In the second half of Term 4, all of the OrmPS learners have been participating in Trash to Flash - turning old used items into something new and usable.
All of the LH1 learners began this journey by spending time looking on the LH1 Pinterest account. Everyone selected a category that they were the most interested in.
Taanvi, Jahnavi and Neha all selected Girls Fashion. They were curious about making an elephant pendant from an old fork. However, before they could make this, they had to go through a test run with the Design Thinking Process. As a group, all of the Girl’s Fashion and Pets & Animals learners made ladybug fridge magnets.
The girls then took the template we used as a larger group and the personalised it to their pendant creation, demonstrating their capability with understanding the design process. Collaboratively, they shared this template and filled it in on Google Slides.

  • Reflect on how successful your planning was, as well as how well you felt your final product turned out.
  • Make another prototype showing changes and improvements to the design.

The Girl Who Found Her Talent

One day at Emily's school there was a talent show that was held on the 14th of November. She thought it was a great opportunity to show here skills and her interstice. But there was a problem and the problem was that she didn't know what her talent was. During her art class she has still thinking about the talent show on what to do.She got so confused on what she should do on the talent show that she forgot all about her class. After her class she went to her car and took off for home.  At first she thought she was good at dancing so she had a go and it went really bad and she knew she was a bad singer, so she gave up and dicided not to be in the talent show. Two days later she finely found her talent art! But she wondered how to present that. Then the lightbulb came “ I'll make a slide on what I learned in art class and some tips and tricks”. So when the day came she was really nervure and she felt like there were butterfly's in her tummy and when her name was called out she got even more nervous. She looked at every body then took a deep breath and let it go. She was ready, she was confident and she was proud. After all that hard work it paid off, and even though she didn't win she had always been a winner to herself. That was the story of the girl who's found her talent.
